Steve Wozniak's Birthday Apple Cocktail Bash

The “other” Steve who co-founded Apple, Steve Wozniak is set to celebrate his 64th birthday on August 11. We have plenty of reasons to be grateful for the birth of Woz and his many contributions to modern computing and technology. This August 11th, let’s raise a flask and salute the man who introduced us to Siri, the App Store, and caused us to fall in love with our smartphones with one of these apple-themed cocktails!
Apple OS Cocktail
  • 2 oz. apple juice
  • 1 oz. apple brandy
  • 1 oz. ginger ale
  • 1 apple slice, for garnish
Fill glass or shaker with ice, add apple juice and brandy, stir well. Strain into chilled glass and top with ginger ale. Garnish with apple slice.
AppletiniPod Classic
  • 2 oz. vodka
  • 1 ½ oz. apple schnapps OR sour apple liqueur
  • 1 oz. triple sec
  • 1 green apple slice, for garnish
Fill shaker with ice, vodka, schnapps/liqueur, and triple sec. Shake and strain into chilled martini glass. Garnish with green apple slice.
LiMac Mojito
  • 1 ½ oz. apple rum
  • 1 oz. lime juice
  • 6 oz. club soda
  • 2 tsp. sugar syrup
  • Fresh mint sprigs
  • Green apple slice, for garnish
Add lime juice, mint, and syrup to glass using a muddler to crush ingredients together. Add ice cubes and apple rum, topping with club soda. Garnish with mint sprigs and green apple slice.
Original Apple Jack-intosh
  • 1 oz. Jack Daniel’s whiskey
  • 2 oz. apple schnapps
  • 1 oz. sweet/sour mix
  • 1 oz. club soda
Pour ingredients over ice and mix.
Siri-ous Sweet and Sour
  • ½ oz. apple schnapps
  • ½ oz. peach schnapps
  • ½  oz. sweet/sour mix
Pour ingredients with ice into shaker. Shake and strain into shot glass or mini flask.
