10 Drinking Games for Every Party! (Beer Pong, Power Hour, Flip Cup, and more)

Have you ever gone to a party where they weren't playing a drinking game or two? We have and they're totally lame sauce! So in order to keep all parties, far and wide, from becoming global centers for lame sauce distribution, we highly recommend that all party goers employ one or more of the following drinking games at all future party events. It's up to you to make the party, a responsibility that shouldn't be taken lightly!

1. Beer Pong - A test of drunken skill and aim. Just might be the greatest drinking game ever invented. Beer pong rules vary from table to table, however, you're almost sure to find this game played at a majority of house parties and college parties across the U.S.
2. Quarters Drinking Game - Test your ability and accuracy by bouncing quarters off a table and into another's drink. Silly and childish, but college kids seem to love it.
3. Shotgun - A race to see who can drink the fastest. Something that is argued over between guys at almost every party you attend.
4. Flip Cup - A drinking game for groups; it is basically a team based drinking relay race. Two teams line up opposite each other at a table. First person chugs their beer out of their plastic cup. The next person can't go until the person before them has drank all their beer and set their cup on the edge of the table and successfully "flipped it" until it has landed upright.

5. Power Hour - This is a game where two or more people take a drink every 60 seconds for one hour. Sounds simple enough right? Well after about half an hour, telling time from an analog clock isn't so easy, and staying off the floor is not so easy, either.
6. High or Low - The first player is dealt a card, and then guesses whether the next card will be higher or lower than the first card. If wrong, the player drinks once (because one card was showing). If correct, the player guesses again. After taking at least three cards, the player may choose to continue or pass. If the player passes, the next player starts where the previous left off. When a player guesses incorrectly, they drink for each card showing. So, the strategy is to build up a lot of cards and then pass it to the next player. Before play starts, determine by voting if equal cards are a loss or a correct guess.
7. Snap - Designate one person as the dealer. (Should be changed every round because the dealer has a distinct disadvantage. Some people play that the dealer does not play on his/her turn.) The dealer begins by placing cards, face up, in a stack, and calls out the number on each turn. When two cards of the same number come up in a row, the first person to bring his/her hand down onto the top of the pile gets the top card, and is then allowed to "give out" the number of the card in drinks to whomever he/she wishes.
8. 1-2-3 - Each player takes a turn, and rolls a single die. The first person to roll a 6 names the drink. The second person to roll a 6 drinks it. The third person to roll a six... pays!
9. Indian Poker - A card is dealt to each player, which they can't look at. Players must place the card on their foreheads so that all other players can see the cards. Basically, the game set up is such that you can see everyone's card but your own. The dealer begins by betting that he has the highest card, and places his bet in drink quantity. Players who don't think they can win fold and take as many drinks from their beer as is the current bet amount. The player who ends up losing (with the lowest card) must drink the total of the bets.
10. Sixes - Line six cups up in a straight line. Decide which end starts from #1 and the other end is #6. Everyone sits around and someone starts by rolling the dice (one die). The number you roll corresponds to the number of the cup in the line. If it's empty, you can fill it as much as you want with a drink, and pass play to the next player. If it contains a drink, drink it all, and then roll again.
