Memorial Day

Memorial Day is an American holiday in which federal employees are given the day off.  This holiday is observed every year on last Monday of May. Memorial Day is set to honor and remembering the men and women who died while serving in the United States Military.  This day of thanks was, at one time, known as Decoration Day, when it originated after the civil war and was created to commemorate the soldiers who died in that war. Today, this holiday commemorates all soldiers of every US war.
